Brooklyn is changing so much!

I haven't blogged in quite a while but I just wanted to put up a couple of pictures. Brooklyn is changing so much and she is so cute! She is starting to smile more and these are a few pictures that I tried to catch her smile. Thanks Aunt Sherry for the adorable outfit!

Brooklyn's blessing day

Today Brooklyn was blessed in our church, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Her father blessed her with the power of the priesthood and the blessing is basically to record her name on the records of the church and to give her blessings throughout her life. She wore a beautiful dress and just looked like an angel. A lot of the family came. Here are a few pictures from the day.

Happy Birthday Grandma Peterson

My dad and his wife, Michelle, came to visit from Southern California and I was so glad. We surprised her with an early birthday bash. She turns 50 this year and it was fun to surprise her. My brother also came up from Miami and it was great to have him here as well. The boys absolutely love Uncle Ryan and all the kids had fun taking turns putting on his sun glasses. I have to say that Brooklyn took to him pretty well too!

Brooklyn LOVES to eat

I took Brooklyn to the doctor today and I could not believe it, she gained 2 pounds in two weeks. Usually newborns lose weight in their first week of life, but Brooklyn has done nothing but gain. She is just my little chunker and I love it!
