Brooklyn Turns 1!

One year older and wiser too! Happy Birthday, to you!! We celebrated Brooklyn's first birthday on August 16, 2009. She is our beautiful little princess and one of the many joys in our lives.

Beach trip

After Barry graduated we went and rented a beach house with his family. It was so much fun! We were invaded by crabs at the beach...well only three, but those were the first live crabs that I have seen so it seemed like a lot to me!

Barry the Graduate!

I know I am way late in writing this entry because Barry graduated almost a month ago, but life has been pretty crazy!!! We had a wonderful time at Barry's Graduation. I am so proud of him, I couldn't ask for a greater husband. It gave me such great joy seeing Robin, his dad, hood him and then seeing him walk across the stage the next day. Yay for Barry!

The many faces of Brooklyn

Brooklyn is such a character.  Lately she has been big into making faces at people.  I caught her in the act of doing so. Also, Her hair is finally long enough to put in a pony tail.  She is super cute so I just wanted to share.  Look at her pose for the camera in the last pic.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BRADEN!

Braden's 5th Birthday was this past Friday, July 31st.  We had a wonderful time.  On Thursday night we went to pump it up.  Tyler and Travis, Braden's cousins came along.  All of the boys loved it. Then on Friday night all of the family came over for cake and ice cream.

Yum Yum!

So, the other night after I had put the boys to bed, Brooklyn and I went downstairs. The boys would not stay out of bed so I put Brooklyn down and quickly ran upstairs to put the boys back in bed. So when I come back down what do I find? Brooklyn is sitting in the kitchen with a jar of Nutella and she is just going to town. I just couldn't help but laugh.

Happy 4th!

Barry and Lincoln watching the fireworks

Brooklyn was fascinated by the fireworks.  She loved it! We were far enough away that it didn't hurt her ears.

While waiting for the fireworks Braden and Lincoln had races.  Really we were trying to wear them out!
