A birthday suprise

Last night I was taken captive by some of my best friends. Cindy, Brittany, and Kira showed up at my doorstep at around 8:30 in the evening. They took me to the cheesecake factory for a late birthday celebration. It just made me realize how blessed I am to have so many wonderful friends, not only here in Florida, but all over the country. I don't know where I would be without my friends and I just want all of them to know that I truly cherish them, and will always.

We celebrated Lincoln's 2nd Birthday on Tuesday, April 22. Lincoln chose to have a Disney's "Cars" party. We held it at one of our favorite parks. We had so much fun, but by cake time Lincoln was worn out. It was a big day for our Little Lincoln. I love Lincoln so much and am so glad that he chose to be a part of our family.

Beach Trip

Today we went to the beach. Barry decided to take off work so that we could go to the beach as a family. Angie, our neighbor, and Scott, Barry's brother, came along as well. It was a fun time. We all love the beach, it is just one of the many wonderful things about living in Florida. Also, I know that some of you might be curious about my "bump" on my tummy and how it is coming along so I threw in a picture of me :)

Kassi's Birthday Flowers

Today is my birthday....the big 24, wow... not really. Anyway I decided that all that I wanted to do for my birthday was to plant some flowers around the palm tree in our little tiny patch of grass in front of our town home. It needed a little life. So yesterday we went to Lowe's and picked out some flowers and then went home and planted them. It was so much fun, but I am kind of disappointed...my flowers are already shriveling up and it has only been one day. I hope it is because of the Florida heat and not because I don't have a very green thumb!

Most Recent Family Photo

This is the most recent family picture that we have. A lot of you might recognize it from the Christmas cards that we sent out, but I still like it. Anyway I could have kicked myself today. We had tons of picture opportunities and I forgot my camera. We went strawberry picking this morning, to a pinewood derby this morning/afternoon, and to a birthday party this afternoon. I admit I need to be better about taking pictures, especially of the boys. I am a slacker! But is was a fun day. I love living in Florida during strawberry season. We can go picking and get 2 quarts of strawberries for $1. It is wonderful and the strawberries are so sweet. We have already made strawberry milkshakes tonight :)
